thoughts i feel
Long ago, when I heard that guys tend to use more of his mind than his feelings, I realized I wasn't one of those kind. "True to your heart". I just liked to be brought up by feelings. Express! When you're in love, lavish love. When you're angry, tell others: punch that corridor wall. Isn't it lovely to be lively? Scream your heart out. And yet, "..the heart is deceitful."
As I grew up (oh c'mon... 20 n u call it growth..? heh XD ), however, I can see how placing your mind above your heart often makes things 'easier', in some ways. This is a bit speculative, but by now (I mean,, uni, doh..) you would've learned that some things have higher percentage of being facts rather than... ah, what's the word for it... rather than... rather than being something-you-need-to-decide-about-doing-based-on-your-feeling, videlicet ((http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/viz) -> my EE2004 lecturer keeps using the abbreviation 'viz.' in the lecture notes, so I thought I'd rather find out what it stands for. it appears that the word sounds elegant), being sarcastic doesn't help much; getting mad is somewhat pointless and selfish; buffering your emotion when arguing is necessary. Still, when mind is dead tired (like, out of debugging codes for 30 hours) I can sense that I'd better not trust my thoughts. They'd turn cunning.
It's harder to control your feelings (you know,, hormones), so I guess it's better to trust your mind. But when thoughts are naturally or brought up to be wicked, I'd reguess.. it's better to trust your heart.
Life is difficult. A lot of things have two sides to look at.
So. Trust your heart, or trust your mind? Trust me, trust GoD.
