..so that's what I finally did today,,, after the first two wonderful years here in NUS.
I wanted to know what "HOLDS" mean in "DUE 25-08-08 + 2 HOLDS".. which was what comp said about the Digital Signal Processing book. So I went to the librarian,, asked her about that. So HOLDS actually means reserved. Then I asked her how I can reserve. She said bla bla bla.. and so needs my matric card to delete some old pin stored under my name. So. I passed it to her. Now that I think about it, she must've choked silently when seeing "U066671B". Sigh. Need to be more diligent.
