Laval Failure

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa this is sad =(
I'm having an IA in a lab which takes part in relevant international competitions. One of the things the lab's going for is a so-called "virtual reality" competition, which eventually requires us to display the proposed system in Laval, France (see http://www.laval-virtual.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=65&Itemid=124&lang=ja).
They never mentioned to me about having me to go there.. well guess there's been enough people going for it. BUT! Just this morning my colleague came to me and straightly ask, "Chris, can you go to France?" And I answered, with cool somemore, "Oh, I've an exam on the 23rd," and gave a face as if France is not somewhere I'd like to go. AAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!! REALLY WANT TO GO THERE!!! T_T when else can I get a chance like this. sad >_<;;;
